Lucy Adlington

Lucy Adlington is a writer, costume historian and actress. She runs the delightful History Wardrobe series of costume-in-context presentations which span 200 years of women's history through fashion.

She is a keen collector of antique and vintage costume, with original items from the eighteenth century onwards. She brings history to life at venues around the country.

She is published as a children's author and has been nominated for the Carnegie Medal. Her novels weave together past, present, future and fantasy. Her latest Young Adult book Night Witches, published by Hodder Children's Books, is inspired by the Russian Night Witches of World War II, the first women to fly combat missions.
